Summary :
Laryngeal sarcomatoid carcinoma is a rare tumor of the elderly smoker male patient. This tumor has a epithelial and sarcomatoid histological components and it is usually presented as exophytic ulcerated lesion. We reported an unusual case of laryngeal sarcomatoid carcinoma presented as giant polypoid pedunculated mass invading the thyroid cartilage. The current literature was reviewed about epidemiology, clinical course, diagnosis and treatment.
